Lithium Polymer Battery Packs

                 We have developed batteries for our systems based on the latest lithium polymer technology.  Our packs measure 2.3x2.4x6.5” and weigh 2.9 lbs.  They are 4 cell series packs, giving a nominal voltage of 14.8 Volts and a capacity of 16 Amp hours (Ah).  They include full protection circuits which protect against over-charge, over-current, and over-discharge.  They include a balance connector to balance the individual cells.   The performance is summarized in the table below. 

                 All of our battery packs are tested before they leave the factory and are shipped with a plot of the voltage vs. time at a 1C (16 amp) discharge current.  The packs have a 6 month limited warranty covering materials and workmanship, however we cannot guarantee the packs will continue to achieve the performance shown on the test sheet.

We also offer a lithium primary (non-rechargeable) battery pack.  This 24 V, 100 Ah pack fits in a cylindrical waterproof case 5.75” in diameter and 21” long.  The battery and case weight 25 lbs, but provide over 4.6 hours of thrust for our J-DPS system at 75% throttle.  These single use batteries are only for the most important dives.
